  • ¾ oz honey syrup

  • Prepare glass in advance by taking a small amount of Absinthe and coating the inside of a rocks glass. Pour out any extra absinthe left in the glass.
  • Fold the lemon peel garnish (skin side towards drink) over drink to mist drink with lemon oils, then rub the glass rim with lemon peel before dropping it into the glass as a garnish (on or off a skewer).

Mecha’s “Red Light District”

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • ¾ oz coconut liquor
  • ¾ oz lemon simple syrup
  • ¾ oz Campari (sinker)
Method: Shaken
Ice: Large Cube

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and fill with ice
  2. Shake ingredients to chill and mix
  3. Strain into a glass over a large ice cube

Notes

  • For the lemon simple syrup, put the simple syrup in a cup and zest lemon peel into it. Let it sit for a bit.
  • Do not add Campari to shaker with the other ingredients.
  • When straining contents into a glass, double strain it.
  • After pouring the other ingredients into the glass, slowly pour the Campari onto a spoon near the surface of the drink so it gently enters the drink and slowly settles to the bottom. You should get red towards the bottom and clear/white towards the top.
